GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Gwinnett County police are investigating a theft after a Lilburn pawn store was robbed on Saturday.

Police inform Channel 2 Motion Information they had been capable of get a photograph of the potential suspect they believed robbed the Money Advance Pawn situated on US-78 from video surveillance footage.

Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins spoke with investigators, who advised her this thief was very brazen.

Gwinnett County investigators are searching for the suspected thief and the getaway automobile after they imagine he focused the Lilburn pawnshop over the weekend, stealing greater than $20,000 value of merchandise.

“The male walked in with a handgun and advised the victims he was going to rob the shop,” stated Hideshi Valle, Public Data Officer for Gwinnett County.

Fortunately no clients had been inside on the time, solely two workers.

“He moved the victims towards the again of the shop, zip-tied them, and laid them dealing with down on the bottom,” stated Valle.


With workers zip-tied at the back of the shop, police stated the suspected thief ransacked the shop, stealing high-ticket objects together with jewellery and weapons.

“It seems that it was over $20,000 in jewellery … about 10 handguns … and somewhat bit over $1,000 in money,” stated Valle.

Retailer surveillance captured the suspected thief sporting all black, apart from a blue baseball hat and a blue surgical masks. He was final seen driving away in a black Toyota Camry.
