RAIL customers are being warned of journey chaos this morning as trains on the Balloch, Helensburgh and Dalmuir strains face delays or cancellations.

ScotRail introduced that all strains are at the moment closed on account of a failure of the electrical energy provide between Glasgow Queen Road Low Degree and Bellgrove.

Community Rail Scotland confirmed groups are on-site in Glasgow to look at overhead strains.

Rail bosses mentioned that a small hearth triggered the electrical provide failure.

While overhead strains are switched off as emergency providers work to resolve the problem all providers on this route – between Edinburgh and Helensburgh, Edinburgh and Milngavie, and Airdrie and Balloch – are topic to delays/cancellations.

Clients are being suggested that tickets can be utilized on Glasgow Citybus routes within the affected areas. ,
