Mom who lied to police among 5 new arrests in Arbor Place mall brawl – WSB-TV Channel 2

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — 5 extra individuals have been arrested after lots of have been concerned in an enormous combat at a Douglasville mall.

Police say as many as 200 teenagers and younger adults have been a part of a fight at Arbor Place Mall in Douglasville on Sept. 3.

Social media video of the chaos reveals teenagers and younger adults preventing, screaming and working by Arbor Place Mall.

Final month, police charged 20 people in connection with the brawl. Nineteen of them have been juveniles and one was an grownup. That grownup’s identification has not been launched.

Now, Douglasville police have introduced 5 extra arrests. 4 of these arrested have been juveniles and one was an grownup.

Brittany Sanders, 33, has been recognized because the grownup within the second group of arrests. Sanders was the mom of one of many arrested juveniles.

Sanders is being charged with obstruction and offering police with a false identify after mendacity about her identify and her little one’s identify.

The juveniles have been all charged with disorderly conduct and affray.

“Thoughts you, we aren’t completed but,” Douglasville Police Chief Gary Sparks mentioned. “We’re going to maintain on till we get everybody who was concerned on this incident.”

Mall spokespeople say it was an remoted incident and that the mall has a wonderful relationship with Douglasville police.
