CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga — The person whom officers say killed a Georgia State Patrol Ok-9 officer and was later shot by officers has been recognized, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation introduced on Saturday.
The GBI recognized the person as Dexton Bolden, a 33-year-old from Jonesboro.
The Ok-9 officer, Figo, was killed within the line of responsibility Friday morning after a chase led to a SWAT standoff with Bolden.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation mentioned police have been conducting a murder investigation after a lethal capturing on Kendrick Street on Thursday. Bolden was noticed driving the sufferer’s automobile on Riverside Street close to Interstate 285.
