JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — Funeral preparations had been introduced for the teenager who was shot and killed as he walked out of Dave & Buster’s at Sugarloaf Mill Mall on Oct. 5.

Elijah DeWitt, 18, was a star soccer participant who was a senior at Jefferson Excessive College in Jackson County.
Funeral companies will likely be held Wednesday, Oct 12 at 6:00 p.m. on the Area at Jefferson Excessive College. Visitation will likely be held Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Jefferson Church, situated at 267 Mahaffey St. in Jefferson.

Final week, Channel 2′s Elizabeth Rawlins talked to DeWitt’s mom, Daybreak DeWitt, who mentioned that, although police initially mentioned her son knew his killer, she now thinks he was a random sufferer.
“I want let’s imagine there was a combat or one thing like that, however he was simply on the incorrect place on the incorrect time,” DeWitt mentioned. “I talked to the detective immediately, and he was not associates with them.”
Two Gwinnett County youngsters, 19-year-old Chandler Richardson and 18-year-old and Kemare Bryan, had been arrested in Anderson, South Carolina, days after the capturing. They’re now dealing with homicide expenses.
