Former DC Cop Michael Fanone Struggling After Jan. 6 Attack, Wants Accountability

Michael Fanone, the previous DC police officer injured through the Jan. 6 riot, has been by way of the wringer since then … and says if nobody’s held accountable for the assault, America’s headed in a harmful route.

Michael joined us on “TMZ Reside” to debate the Jan. 6 Committee’s choice Thursday to subpoena Donald Trump — a transfer he completely applauds, though it does not sound like he is holding out a ton of hope Trump will truly be delivered to justice.

We requested Michael — who was repeatedly crushed with a flagpole, tasered, and dragged down a number of steps within the chaos that day — how he’d really feel if Trump runs in 2024 and wins.

He did not hesitate together with his response, saying … “For those who’re asking me if I am gonna go to Canada … f**ok no!!!” As a substitute, Michael mentioned he would attempt to discover some option to coexist within the nation with Trump supporters.
