Faifley: Eight youngsters charged over ‘£6,000 worth of damage’

EIGHT youths have been charged in reference to allegedly inflicting £6,000 value of harm in Faifley.

It comes after current reported incidents of fire-raising, vandalism, and anti-social behaviour within the Lennox Drive space.

Local people officers have been working arduous to determine these allegedly accountable and have since confirmed eight folks have now been recognized and charged.

Officers stated that two 12-year-olds, two 13-year-olds and a 14-year-old have been reported in reference to an alleged wilful fire-raising incident at Edinbarnet Main College.

Cops added that throughout the incident one of many wood play huts throughout the grounds was reportedly set alight.

In a separate case two 12-year-olds, two 13-year-olds, and a 14-year-old have been reported in reference to two reported wilful fire-raising incidents at Sky Level Group Centre.

In a fourth incident, a 12-year-old has been reported following an alleged wilful fire-raising incident at Sky Level Group Centre.

Officers stated they are going to work with companions to make sure “efficient intervention” is in place to assist and educate these reportedly concerned.

Directed patrols will proceed within the space.
